Principal Adverse Impact (PAI) & Additional ESG KPIs
Our Principal Adverse Impact statement covers both mandatory and voluntary indicators as well as additional ESG KPIs. This dual approach ensures we meet regulatory requirements and maintain consistency with our broader sustainability reporting system.
Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures
The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), originally established by the Financial Stability Board, has since been fully consolidated into the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). As of fiscal 2024, Covestro reports under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) in line with the EU's CSRD. Due to the close alignment between ISSB and EFRAG, ESRS E1: Climate Change covers all TCFD recommendations and partially exceeds them.
