Annual Color Run raises funds and brings Pittsburgh community together

More than 100 participants laced up for Covestro's annual Color Run, raising funds for the United Way and celebrating the power of community, wellness and teamwork.

Employees from Covestro's Pittsburgh campus recently came together for another successful annual Color Run, raising funds for the United Way while encouraging healthy lifestyles and community engagement.

Organized in partnership with the United Way and Covestro's SPARK and FIT Employee Resource Groups, this year's event also welcomed employees from neighboring company Industrial Scientific. Approximately 115 runners and walkers participated in the colorful two-mile course before celebrating with a well-earned ice cream social.

The event also featured a 50/50 raffle benefiting the United Way. Together, registration fees and raffle proceeds raised $2,384 to support programs that strengthen local communities.

Thank you to the many employees, volunteers and community partners who helped make this year's event another success. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
