Covestro’s polycarbonate resin forms the casing of this smart smoke and carbon monoxide detector, giving it the strength, precision and versatility needed for complex molding. Its color options—transparent, translucent or opaque—let the detectors blend into any home, while keeping the structural integrity required for IoT functionality. And because our polycarbonate is recyclable, it helps make the product’s lifecycle more sustainable.
